We are seeking a skilled and reliable Pipejacking Operative to join our growing team. With major infrastructure framework projects secured across the North West, Cumbria, and the Scottish Borders, including upcoming works in shaft sinking and micro tunnelling, this is an excellent opportunity for long‑term, stable employment within a forward‑thinking company.

About the Role

You will play a key role in delivering high‑quality trenchless construction works, supporting pipejacking and micro tunnelling operations across a range of large‑scale infrastructure projects.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in pipejacking, shaft sinking, or micro tunnelling
  • Strong understanding of tunnelling equipment and site safety procedures
  • Ability to work effectively within a team in demanding site environments
  • Valid CSCS card (or equivalent) - preferred
  • Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Tunnelling Operations (CITB) - desirable
  • Trenchless Technology Operator Qualification Programme - desirable
  • City & Guilds Confined Spaces (Medium Risk) - desirable
  • A strong commitment to quality, safety, and workmanship

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and assist with pipejacking and micro tunnelling machinery
  • Support shaft sinking operations and related site activities
  • Monitor line and level to ensure accurate installation
  • Assist with site setup, maintenance, and daily operations
  • Adhere strictly to all health & safety regulations
