Marine business travel consultant required for a global TMC who have won a new piece of business and are looking for 7 business travel consultants with marine and offshore, oil and gas or crewing experience ideally. Amadeus would be a bonus, but they will cross train from Galileo or Sabre if you have some relevant experience in this sector. Home based, Monday to Friday, salary up to £32,000.
Duties of a Marine business travel consultant:
- Working on mixed marine and offshore accounts dealing with marine and oil and gas clients booking worldwide travel using Amadeus.
- Dealing with crew movements, rotations and disruption handling.
- Booking flights, accommodations and land arrangements.
Skills Required of a Marine business travel consultant:
- Proven experience in marine, offshore or crew travel using a GDS - ideally Amadeus trained but they will crossover from another GDS as long as you have the marine experience.
- They may consider strong Amadeus agents without marine experience if you have coordinated logistics before.
Additional information:
- Home based role, all equipment provided.
- All training carried out from home.
- 37.5 hours per week between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM (small shift pattern between these times).
