Are you an Electrically bias Maintenance Engineer looking for a career within the supply chain of the automotive industry? Would you like to be trained up in the maintenance of some brand new equipment and lines that is currently being installed onsite? Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of high-volume PLC controlled production equipment.
  • Planning and performing equipment preventative maintenance.
  • Improvement and modification of assembly / test equipment and transfer systems.
  • Service and maintenance of electrical and mechanical site services / plant.
  • Supporting the installation of new equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Ideally qualifications in Electrical Engineering to back up your experience.
  • Time Served Apprenticeship.
  • Significant experience within manufacturing.
  • Proven experience on Repair, Maintenance and Process Improvement.
  • Ideally experienced in maintenance and fault finding PLC controlled and robotic equipment.
  • Experience of maintaining and fault finding hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Pro-actively identifies and suggests improvements based on findings of preventative maintenance and fault finding.
  • Understanding of preventative maintenance schedules.
