A highly regarded Specialist SEN School in South Manchester is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their expanding team. This welcoming and well‑resourced school supports secondary‑aged students with ASC, ADHD, and associated behavioural needs through a personalised and nurturing approach to education. The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment. You will provide both 1:1 and small group support, promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting students within the classroom and during activities
- Delivering tailored 1:1 and small group support
- Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
- Supporting emotional regulation and communication development
- Implementing behaviour management strategies
