GI Group is recruiting multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers in Burgess Hill (BN6) for a well-known international courier client focused on the express road-based market.
Driver Shifts:
- Shifts start on an ad-hoc basis Monday to Friday
- Weekend work available
- Average 12 hour shift
Pay & Benefits:
- Monday-Friday: £20.34 per hour
- Saturday: £26.35 per hour
- Sunday: £29.41 per hour
Pay is PAYE and includes advanced holiday pay.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct vehicle checks
- Load cargo to depots
- Deliver goods safely to customers across the UK
- Prioritise workload to meet time commitments
Requirements:
- Presentable appearance, eye for detail and a positive attitude
- No more than 6 penalty points. No DD/IN/DR/DN/TT endorsement codes
- Valid, in-date tachograph and CPC
- Good customer service skills
- At least 12 months of experience as a Class 1 driver
