Salary: £32,091.99 per annum

Employment type: Full Time, Permanent (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • You’ll undertake a wide range of maintenance and associated tasks across Greenspace services on all One Manchester owned and managed properties, covering both tenanted and vacant homes.
  • Your work will support the upkeep, improvement and presentation of external environments.
  • This includes carrying out maintenance works, delivering excellent customer service, applying a Right‑First‑Time approach to complete tasks in a single visit wherever practicable, and consistently maintaining high standards of quality, performance and workmanship.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 in Horticulture (or equivalent), or willingness to work towards it
  • Full UK driving licence with ability to tow a trailer and operate plant, or willingness to work towards it
  • PA1/PA6 spraying certification, or willingness to work towards obtaining it
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation, including COSHH
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in a customer‑facing role, delivering high standards of customer service
  • Ability to respond appropriately to emergencies and use own initiative
