Full-Time Long-Term Role
Aspire People is currently seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to support a vibrant and welcoming primary school to start in September. This exciting opportunity is ideal for someone with proven experience, or aspiring teachers who wish to work in a primary school before pursuing their teacher training.
Responsibilities:
- Support across KS1 and KS2, working alongside class teachers to deliver high-quality learning.
- Work across a range of subjects, mainly working in your subject specialism or with young people with additional needs.
- Deliver targeted intervention sessions outside of the classroom, helping to raise attainment.
- Full-time position, with the potential to become a permanent post for the right candidate.
Requirements:
- A degree in core subject, psychology or education related subject.
- Recent, relevant experience working with young people is beneficial.
- Confidence delivering intervention work to small groups.
- A proactive attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for education.
