Salary: 28,000 – 47,000

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and innovative teaching across Level 1 to Level 3 Games Design programmes. You will have a strong understanding of vocational qualifications, including BTEC and OCR awarding bodies, and be confident supporting learners in developing both technical and creative industry skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high‑quality teaching across Games Design courses from Level 1-3
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned to BTEC and OCR specifications
  • Support students in developing practical and theoretical games design skills
  • Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback and support
  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental activities
  • Prepare learners for progression into higher education or industry careers
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience and/or knowledge in 3D modelling and animation software such as Maya or Blender
  • Experience with game engines such as Unreal Engine or Construct 3
  • Experience with creative software including Adobe Creative Suite and/or DaVinci Resolve
  • Understanding of games design workflows, 3D art pipelines, and project management processes
  • Teaching or industry experience within Games Design, Digital Media, or related disciplines
  • Understanding of BTEC and OCR qualification frameworks
