Our client is a leading independent Trailer Freight Forwarder now looking for a European Route Freight Manager to join their growing team in Manchester to oversee and develop the Iberian Road freight route.

Responsibilities:

  • Quote, fill and plan trailers.
  • Work closely with overseas agents in Spain and Portugal.

Qualifications:

  • Commercially driven mindset.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in road freight forwarding movements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving.

Benefits:

  • Basic salary of £35,000-£40,000.
  • Bonus scheme.

  • Salary sacrifice car scheme.
  • 24 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays (additional 2 days after 5 years' service and 2 further days after 10 years, capped at 28 days).
