Kinetic Industrial are looking for numerous Food Production Operatives to work for a food manufacturer based in Old Trafford / Stretford.

Shift Details:

  • Work on a 3-shift pattern with some flexibility required.
  • You must be able to work all three shifts:
    • 0550am to 1350pm (0550am - 11:50am Friday)
    • 1350pm to 2150pm (11:50am-17:50pm Friday)
    • 2150pm to 0550am (17:50pm-23:50pm Friday)

Responsibilities:

  • Quality control at all stages of the production process.
  • Cleaning all work areas using various products and equipment.
  • Fast-moving line so must be able to work quickly and efficiently.
  • Packing products into boxes where required.
  • Making sure that all work being done is to a very high standard.
  • Inspecting produce for any signs of damage or tampering and reporting where necessary.
  • Completing manual handling tasks, including lifting bags and boxes of product.
  • When required, do ad-hoc work such as cleaning, sweeping etc – “Get Stuck In”.

Qualifications:

  • Experience within the food manufacturing industry is a distinct advantage.
  • Physically fit, able to repetitively handle bags of flour and stand on feet all day.
  • Good understanding of Health and Safety.
  • Excellent personal hygiene standards.
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Must be flexible to carry out all shift patterns and cover where required.
  • Ability to attend every shift on time with a positive attitude.

Details:

  • Pay: 12.71 for day shifts and 14.26 night rate.
  • Shifts Monday to Friday.
  • Free car parking and excellent links to public transport.
  • Full onsite training provided.
  • No smoking on site – including on breaks.
