Our client Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council is looking for a Children's Social Worker to join their Safeguarding team.

Responsibilities

  • Work within public and private law proceedings and child protection planning.
  • Plan and deliver restorative practice keeping children at the heart of Tameside.
  • Support and collaborate with senior leadership, team manager and wider safeguarding team.
  • Advocate for children in court proceedings and achieve better outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Experience of court proceedings and child protection planning.
  • Enhanced Disclosure via the DBS.
  • Commitment to a restorative practice approach.
