Our client Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council is looking for a Children's Social Worker to join their Safeguarding team.
Responsibilities
- Work within public and private law proceedings and child protection planning.
- Plan and deliver restorative practice keeping children at the heart of Tameside.
- Support and collaborate with senior leadership, team manager and wider safeguarding team.
- Advocate for children in court proceedings and achieve better outcomes.
Qualifications
- Experience of court proceedings and child protection planning.
- Enhanced Disclosure via the DBS.
- Commitment to a restorative practice approach.
