Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using ASP.NET MVC and C#
  • Deliver scalable, secure, cloud‑based solutions within energy‑focused environments
  • Work with Postgres and Azure SQL to optimise database performance and structure
  • Build and maintain serverless applications using Azure Functions
  • Support and improve CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
  • Collaborate closely with senior developers, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and stakeholders
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision‑making
  • Work across long‑term, continuous delivery projects with evolving client requirements

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong background in ASP.NET MVC and C#
  • Proven experience delivering projects within the energy sector
  • Evidence of working on ongoing, business‑critical software projects similar to enterprise delivery environments
  • Strong experience with Postgres and/or Azure SQL
  • Experience with Azure cloud services, including Azure Functions
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD processes, ideally using Azure DevOps
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work effectively within Agile development teams

Desirable / Nice‑to‑Have Skills
