The role of the Business Development Manager Concrete Maintenance will involve:
- First UK sales person on the ground opportunity, for an established market leader in engineered binders for rapid strength concrete (looking for UK/Europe expansion).
- Selling this innovative solution into predominantly road/highway maintenance contractors as well as airport contractors.
- An opportunity to expand offering into Europe once established in the UK market.
- Technology trusted across roads, airports and industrial flooring projects (achieve faster, more reliable repairs).
- Typical project size circa 100 tonnes (£200,000).
- Targeted to achieve 3,000 tonnes per annum.
- Working closely with existing UK manufacturing partner producer (based in the Midlands) and first UK existing contractor (also based Midlands).
- Lead pricing, tenders, and strategy discussions.
- 3 days on the road, 2 days working from home focused on strategy, lead generation and account development.
- Autonomous role, taking the role of Country lead, owning sales development and customer growth.
The ideal applicant will be a Business Development Manager Concrete Maintenance with:
- Proven track record of field sales within construction, cement or building materials.
- Knowledge of cement/concrete technology.
- Ideally with a network of road/highway maintenance contractors or airport maintenance contractors.
- Appreciation of concrete applications for roads and airports.
- Autonomous/self-sufficient.
- Ability to grow with the company, genuine pathway to senior BDM and leadership roles.
- Happy to develop into Europe in the future.
- Approachable.
