Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of high-volume PLC controlled production equipment.
  • Planning and performing equipment preventative maintenance.
  • Improvement and modification of assembly / test equipment and transfer systems.
  • Service and maintenance of electrical and mechanical site services / plant.
  • Supporting the installation of new equipment.

Qualifications

  • Ideally qualifications in Electrical Engineering to back up your experience.
  • Time Served Apprenticeship.
  • Significant experience within manufacturing.
  • Proven experience on Repair, Maintenance and Process Improvement.
  • Ideally experienced in maintenance and fault finding PLC controlled and robotic equipment.
  • Experience of maintaining and fault finding hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Pro-actively identifies and suggests improvements based on findings of preventative maintenance and fault finding.
  • Understanding or preventative maintenance schedules.
