We are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Service Manager on behalf of a successful and growing automotive business in the local area. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Service Advisor, Senior Service Advisor, or existing Assistant Service Manager looking to join a busy aftersales operation with a strong earning potential and clear career progression.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Service Manager with daily department operations
  • Overseeing and motivating the team
  • Ensuring high levels of customer service are maintained
  • Managing workshop loading and workflow
  • Assisting with KPI performance and departmental targets
  • Handling customer queries and escalations professionally
  • Maintaining strong communication between workshop and front‑of‑house teams

Requirements

  • Previous experience within an automotive aftersales environment
  • Strong leadership or supervisory experience
  • Excellent customer service and organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced dealership environment
  • Kerridge / DMS experience advantageous but not essential

Package

  • £35,000 basic salary
  • £53,000 OTE
  • 45‑hour working week
  • 1 in 4 Saturdays
  • Genuine long‑term career prospects
