We are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Service Manager on behalf of a successful and growing automotive business in the local area. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Service Advisor, Senior Service Advisor, or existing Assistant Service Manager looking to join a busy aftersales operation with a strong earning potential and clear career progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Service Manager with daily department operations
- Overseeing and motivating the team
- Ensuring high levels of customer service are maintained
- Managing workshop loading and workflow
- Assisting with KPI performance and departmental targets
- Handling customer queries and escalations professionally
- Maintaining strong communication between workshop and front‑of‑house teams
Requirements
- Previous experience within an automotive aftersales environment
- Strong leadership or supervisory experience
- Excellent customer service and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced dealership environment
- Kerridge / DMS experience advantageous but not essential
Package
- £35,000 basic salary
- £53,000 OTE
- 45‑hour working week
- 1 in 4 Saturdays
