Based in Stoke-on-Trent, your new company is a leader in their field and is looking for a Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.

Accountable for the preparation, review, and timely submission of monthly management information, including income statements and balance sheets, aligned with internal and group deadlines.

Drove the financial planning cycle, coordinating annual budgeting and ongoing forecast updates, while translating financial data into clear insights to support decision‑making.

Played a key role in statutory year‑end processes, supporting audit delivery and maintaining effective relationships with external assurance providers.

Monitored and reported on short‑term and medium‑term cash position, producing regular cashflow analysis and providing pragmatic recommendations to support liquidity management.

Ensured accurate and compliant completion of tax and payroll‑related filings, including indirect and employment taxes.

Developed, reviewed, and maintained costing models and standard cost data, supporting margin analysis and operational performance reviews.

Partnered with operational and commercial teams to provide financial advice, challenge, and support across the business.

Proactively identified opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and strengthen financial controls, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Supported a variety of business projects and ad‑hoc pieces of work, responding flexibly to changing priorities.

Worked closely with senior stakeholders, contributing as an effective member of a multi‑disciplinary finance team, fostering strong collaborative relationships.
