We are working with a large, well‑established Not-for-Profit organisation based in North London that is looking to appoint two Qualified Management Accountants to join its growing finance function. Two positions are available: 1x Permanent Management Accountant and 1x 12‑Month Fixed Term Contract Management Accountant.

The Role

Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will act as a key Finance Business Partner, providing high‑quality financial insight to support both operational and strategic decision‑making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts with clear, insightful commentary
  • Ownership of budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Detailed variance analysis and performance reporting
  • Development of robust financial models to support planning, investment proposals and business cases
  • Acting as a trusted Finance Business Partner to non‑finance budget holders, translating complex financial information into clear, actionable insight
  • Supporting strong financial controls, governance and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Working collaboratively across finance and the wider organisation within a large, complex structure

About You

  • Be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Have proven Management Accounting experience within a medium to large organisation
  • Demonstrate strong Finance Business Partnering capability
  • Possess excellent budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis skills
  • Have advanced Excel and financial modelling expertise
  • Be highly analytical, with strong attention to detail
  • Have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage, influence and challenge non‑finance stakeholders
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of working effectively across large and complex organisations
  • Experience within social housing or the not‑for‑profit sector is highly desirable, but not essential
