Just Recruitment is working with a growing business within the FMCG sector - looking to add a 'Warehouse Operative' to their team on a 6 month fixed term contract basis. The key purpose of this role is to assist with the smooth running of all warehouse operations, working with the wider business team to ensure that customer expectations are met.
Key Duties:
- Drive FLT
- Ensure FLT checks are carried out and failures reported.
- Ensure stock rotation is done in compliance with agreed site standards.
- Report all damages.
- Complete pre-loading vehicle inspections.
- Ensure vehicle is loaded without damages.
- Maintain effective communication with hauliers and line management.
- Follow site escalation procedures in the event of issues, non-compliance, and failures.
- Ensure all personnel visiting the area follow site HSE procedures.
- Ensure product is delivered/dispatched with correct documentation.
- Take reasonable and practical care of personal health and safety and of others who may be required to implement any legal or company directives regarding health and safety at work.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous warehouse experience is essential.
- Valid counterbalance FLT licence is essential.
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
- Practical experience of working within a high speed/FMCG manufacturing operation is essential.
- A passion to grow and develop.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 4.15pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
