Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative in Maldon, Essex. £14.50 per hour (rising to £15+ after 3 months). 6 Month contract (possible permanent contract available). Immediate Start.

We are recruiting a Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to become a key player in a busy FMCG operation in Maldon. Please note: a full UK driving licence and your own transport are essential due to the site location.

What your day will look like:

  • You will be right at the heart of the warehouse operation, keeping products flowing smoothly from production to dispatch.
  • Driving a counterbalance forklift safely and confidently.
  • Carrying out vehicle checks before loading.
  • Loading vehicles carefully to avoid damage.
  • Working closely with hauliers and internal teams.
  • Making sure paperwork is correct and complete.
  • Championing health, safety, and hygiene standards.

What we're looking for:

  • A valid counterbalance forklift licence.
  • Previous experience in logistics distribution and supply chain and warehousing.
  • FMCG or high‑speed manufacturing experience (ideal, not essential).
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • A positive, can‑do attitude with a willingness to learn and progress.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, ISO, or COSHH is a bonus.

Working hours:

  • Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week (rotating shifts):
  • Week 1: 05:45 - 14:00
  • Week 2: 07:30 - 15:45
  • Week 3: 14:00 - 22:15
