We are recruiting a Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to become a key player in a busy FMCG operation in Maldon. Please note: a full UK driving licence and your own transport are essential due to the site location.
What your day will look like:
- You will be right at the heart of the warehouse operation, keeping products flowing smoothly from production to dispatch.
- Driving a counterbalance forklift safely and confidently.
- Carrying out vehicle checks before loading.
- Loading vehicles carefully to avoid damage.
- Working closely with hauliers and internal teams.
- Making sure paperwork is correct and complete.
- Championing health, safety, and hygiene standards.
What we're looking for:
- A valid counterbalance forklift licence.
- Previous experience in logistics distribution and supply chain and warehousing.
- FMCG or high‑speed manufacturing experience (ideal, not essential).
- Full UK driving licence.
- A positive, can‑do attitude with a willingness to learn and progress.
- Knowledge of HACCP, ISO, or COSHH is a bonus.
Working hours:
- Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week (rotating shifts):
- Week 1: 05:45 - 14:00
- Week 2: 07:30 - 15:45
- Week 3: 14:00 - 22:15
