An established facilities and engineering services provider is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support maintenance and repair on commercial sites. This role offers the opportunity to join a growing team with strong long-term contracts and progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on fire and security systems
  • Maintain and service CCTV (IP and analogue) and fire alarm systems
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with service level agreements and performance targets
  • Respond to service requests and fault calls within agreed timeframes
  • Accurately complete job reports and documentation
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and statutory requirements

Requirements

Essential:

  • Electrical qualification (NVQ or City & Guilds)
  • Experience with CCTV systems (IP and/or analogue)
  • Experience with fire alarm systems
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

Desirable:

  • IPAF licence (or willingness to obtain)
