As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring that students continue their learning during a teacher's absence. Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and support students in the classroom during the absence of the class teacher
- Ensure students remain engaged and complete set tasks
- Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a positive and productive learning environment
- Support student's well-being and emotional needs
- Report any issues or concerns to relevant school staff
- Adhere to the school's policies and procedures at all times
- Previous experience working with young people (teaching, tutoring, or mentoring is an advantage)
- Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- The ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a calm, positive atmosphere
- A proactive and flexible approach to supporting student learning
