Your new company is an award‑winning multidisciplinary practice offering a range of design and build solutions, including architecture, building surveying, quantity surveying and project management across the UK. Your new role
As a PQS Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be involved in all aspects of quantity surveying, from pre‑construction work and job running through to handover, including:
- Cost consultancy services on a range of developments (currently predominantly industrial and logistics), including pre‑ and post‑contract work.
- Employers agent work, acting as the administrator for multi‑million‑£ design and build contracts.
- Tendering on behalf of clients where appropriate, collating contract documents and implementing change‑control procedures.
Some travel will be required, but this is a PQS position rather than a site‑based Quantity Surveyor.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal Quantity Surveyor must have a basic understanding of cost consultancy and, ideally, a record of managing their own projects. Experience with pre‑ and post‑contract work is considered an advantage.
