Our client, a reputable prestige main dealer in Portsmouth, Hampshire, is seeking a highly motivated Car Sales Executive to join their dynamic team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity within a well-established dealership group known for its excellent customer service, professional development programmes, and supportive work environment. The Car Sales Executive will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer experiences while maximising sales performance.

Duties of a Car Sales Executive:

  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual vehicle sales targets
  • Maximise profitability through effective upselling of GAP policies, warranties, and finance options
  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Act as a Brand Ambassador, maintaining comprehensive knowledge of all products, accessories, and key features
  • Advise customers on options, accessories, extended warranties, and finance facilities
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and follow up proactively
  • Develop and build long‑term customer relationships
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory and process requirements
  • Manage customer appointments efficiently and plan sales activities proactively

Requirements of a Car Sales Executive:

  • Proven experience in automotive sales or a strong sales background with confident communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and organisation skills
  • Ability to plan, manage, and follow up on customer opportunities effectively
  • Self‑motivated with a proactive approach to prospecting and sales development
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Right to work within the UK
