Are you a skilled Mechanical, Electrical and Trim (MET) Technician with strong diagnostic ability and a passion for vehicle repair quality? In this role, you will carry out a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and trim tasks including:

  • Removing and refitting components
  • Diagnosing faults
  • Preparing vehicles for further repair work

You will work with modern digital job cards to manage work instructions, record progress, and order required parts efficiently. You will also use up-to-date diagnostic tooling and equipment to support fault finding, ADAS calibration, and vehicle rectification work.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a mechanical, electrical technician within an automotive workshop environment. You will be confident working across mechanical and electrical systems, have strong diagnostic skills, and be comfortable using modern workshop technology to identify and resolve issues efficiently and accurately.

The Role:

  • Remove and refit mechanical, electrical, and trim components in line with vehicle repair requirements
  • Diagnose faults across vehicle systems using modern diagnostic equipment
  • Prepare vehicles for cosmetic and structural repair work
  • Use digital job cards to manage workflow, documentation, and parts ordering
  • Carry out ADAS calibration, fault finding, and rectification work
  • Work closely with cosmetic and quality teams to ensure efficient vehicle turnaround

The Person:

  • Proven experience with mechanical & electrical vehicle repair
  • Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
  • Experience using modern diagnostic equipment and workshop tooling
  • High attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety standards
