Location: RAF Boulmer, NE66 3JF

Hourly Rate: £13.10

Contract type: Permanent

Working hours: Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 15:30

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team of Grounds Maintenance Operatives based at RAF Boulmer and ensure the grounds are maintained to a high standard for a prestige site and active hospital.
  • Conduct grass cutting, strimming, hedge pruning, flower bed maintenance, spraying, and related grounds maintenance and gardening tasks.
  • Support and develop team members, maintain a safe work environment, and promote best practices in grounds maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Previous Grounds Maintenance and Gardening experience is required, with leadership experience being highly advantageous.
  • A full valid UK driving license is essential.
  • Horticultural qualifications highly beneficial as this role will involve head gardening duties.
  • Willing to undertake and achieve clear DBS and BPSS checks prior to start.
  • PA1 and PA6 licenses are desirable.
  • Can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset.
  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
