Our client, a leading engineering consultancy, is currently seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their dynamic team. This permanent role offers the chance to be part of an exceptional team that embraces technically demanding projects and challenges. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of changes in the industry, such as reducing embodied carbon and modern methods of infrastructure design.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the delivery of multidisciplinary projects from proposition through to construction, balancing demands and priorities while reviewing civil infrastructure design.
- Planning project resources and finances, and monitoring job financial performance.
- Managing and mentoring technical staff, contributing to planning team workload, and developing more junior team members.
- Preparing and reviewing technical reports, specifications, and schedules.
- Focusing on customer needs and being part of the work‑winning team to secure the group's project pipeline.
Job Requirements
- Proven technical background in infrastructure design, with a track record of delivering specialism in a core infrastructure discipline (e.g., Highways, Utilities, Sustainable Drainage).
- Experience in successful multidisciplinary project delivery, demonstrating the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroDrainage.
- A willingness to travel and lead continuous quality improvement in work output.
- Membership of a relevant professional institution.
