Long Term Futures is supporting a Harrow primary school in recruiting a knowledgeable and experienced HLTA to work with pupils across Year 6 from September. This opportunity is focused around small‑group learning support, with the successful candidate working across three Year 6 classes to help pupils build confidence and consistency in English and Maths ahead of their transition into secondary school. The school is open to applicants with a Level 4 HLTA qualification, though experienced upper KS2 Teaching Assistants with a strong intervention background will also be considered.
What the Role Will Involve:
- Leading focused learning sessions with targeted Year 6 pupils
- Supporting children who benefit from additional reinforcement in core subjects
- Helping pupils improve confidence, independence and classroom participation
- Working collaboratively with Year 6 staff to identify areas for support
