An outstanding opportunity has arisen with a leading consultancy for an experienced leader to take on a pivotal Senior Director role within their structures team. This position offers the chance to shape, grow and lead multiple high-performing teams, while driving technical excellence and business success across London and the South East.

The role provides strategic, technical and commercial leadership across several structural engineering teams, with a strong focus on complex substructure and foundation design, particularly on challenging brownfield sites. Acting as a key technical authority, the successful candidate will lead major projects, strengthen client relationships and play a central role in expanding a diverse and high-value project pipeline across sectors such as data centres, industrial and residential.

This is a rare opportunity to build and scale teams, influence business direction and secure flagship projects within a dynamic and growing environment. The position offers significant scope to develop a larger function, mentor future leaders and make a lasting impact on both projects and people.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in heavy substructure design, proven leadership across multidisciplinary teams and strong commercial awareness. Chartered status with the Institution of Structural Engineers or Institution of Civil Engineers is required, alongside substantial experience in building structures.
