An established engineering consultancy is looking to add a Senior Civil Infrastructure Engineer to its growing London team. The position will involve working on a broad range of residential and development led infrastructure schemes across the UK. The team is involved in projects from initial feasibility and planning through to detailed infrastructure delivery, supporting both private sector developers and public sector clients on schemes of varying scale.
Requirements:
- Background in highways and drainage design for residential or mixed use developments
- Understanding of technical approval processes including S104, S38 and S278 agreements
- Experience using MicroDrainage and AutoCAD
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to manage workloads and support more junior engineers where required
Responsibilities:
- Delivering infrastructure design packages for development projects
- Producing drainage layouts and highway designs
- Preparing technical reports including Flood Risk Assessments and drainage statements
- Assisting with levels strategies and earthworks assessments
- Coordinating with clients, local authorities and external consultants
- Supporting the delivery of projects through planning and detailed design stages
- Mentoring junior members of the engineering team
