Location: Remote, with occasional UK travel

Rate: £600 - £650 per day

IR35: Outside IR35

Clearance: Active SC Clearance required prior to start date

We are supporting an NCSC-assured cyber security consultancy that has recently won a large government project focused on CAF assurance and cyber resilience. They are looking for three Security Consultants to support the delivery of CAF assessments across a major government environment. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile programme, helping to assess cyber resilience, engage with key stakeholders, and produce high-quality assurance outputs aligned to NCSC guidance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver CAF assessments across government environments
  • Facilitate stakeholder interviews and evidence-gathering sessions
  • Assess cyber resilience against the NCSC CAF framework
  • Identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities
  • Produce clear, high-quality assurance reports and recommendations
  • Work closely with client teams to support cyber resilience improvements

Required experience:

  • Strong understanding of the NCSC Cyber Assessment Framework
  • Experience delivering CAF assessments or similar cyber assurance activity
  • Confident facilitating stakeholder interviews and evidence-based assessments
  • Ability to identify cyber risks and provide practical improvement recommendations
  • Strong written communication skills, with experience producing assurance outputs
  • Active SC Clearance must be in place before starting

Contract details:

  • Initial 3 month contract aligned to the current work package, with strong potential to extend
  • Remote working, with occasional travel to UK sites
