The Role
As an Autism Support Worker, you'll work closely with primary‐aged pupils (typically 4–11 years old) with autism and additional needs. You'll help create a safe, engaging, and structured environment where children can build confidence, develop key skills, and enjoy learning.
Responsibilities
- Providing 1:1 and small group support tailored to each child
- Delivering fun, engaging, and age‐appropriate learning activities
- Supporting communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation
- Encouraging independence and early life skills development
- Helping maintain a positive, consistent, and nurturing classroom environment
