Location: Heathrow / Feltham Area

Shifts: Day & Night Shifts Available (Rostered Pattern or ADHOC)

Temperature: 5–20 C (PPE Provided)

The Role

We are currently recruiting Cold Store Operatives to join our clients based in the Heathrow/Feltham area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast‑paced warehouse environment handling perishable cargo, including fish and other temperature‑controlled goods. You will be working within a cold store facility (5–20 C), with full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Loading and unloading vehicles carrying perishable cargo using a forklift truck and other mechanical equipment
  • Carrying out manual handling duties where required
  • Breaking down and building ULDs (including PAGs, PMCs and AKEs)
  • Using hand‑held scanning devices to locate and identify cargo
  • Processing paperwork in line with client requirements
  • Checking inbound cargo for discrepancies, damage, or areas of concern
  • Picking and packing orders ready for delivery
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and compliant warehouse environment
  • Working collaboratively as part of an enthusiastic team
  • Adhering strictly to Health & Safety procedures at all times

Requirements

  • Be safety‑focused with the ability to maintain a secure working environment
  • Be able to speak, read and write English
  • Have previous warehouse experience (desirable but not essential, full training provided)
  • Be able to provide a fully checkable 5‑year employment and/or education history
  • Successfully complete criminal record checks in line with CAA security regulations (DBS and/or PCC)
