A reputable and expanding building services contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of complex HVAC and mechanical projects across London. This role offers genuine autonomy, exposure to technically challenging work, and the chance to join a business with a strong pipeline of secured projects.

The Opportunity

Reporting into senior management, you will take full ownership of multiple HVAC-led projects, managing the process from early engagement through to final handover. Schemes typically include a mix of commercial, mechanical and HVAC work.

Key responsibilities

  • End-to-end project delivery, from site surveys and coordination through to commissioning and completion
  • Ownership of project performance, including programme, cost control, quality, and commercial outcomes
  • Management of direct labour and specialist sub-contractors
  • Ensuring all health & safety obligations are met, including site inspections and reporting
  • Commercial administration including variations, applications, valuations, and change control
  • Producing and managing detailed project programmes
  • Proactive risk management and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders

Qualifications

  • A solid background in delivering HVAC or mechanical building services projects
  • Experience working with systems such as AHUs, VRF/VRV, ductwork, chilled water, plumbing, and chillers
  • A good understanding of commercial and contractual processes
  • A track record of managing site teams and multiple workstreams
  • Strong organisational skills and a hands-on, solutions-focused approach

Salary: 68,000, depending on experience + package.
