We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support day‑to‑day operations in our care home kitchen.

What you'll be doing:
- Supporting the chefs in the planning and provision of high‑quality meals that meet the nutritional and dietary requirements of our residents
- Plan, prepare, and serve balanced meals that meet dietary requirements
- Ensure all food prepared meets Food Hygiene Standards and that safe methods of work are always used
- Manage all stocks and stores, ensuring all food is correctly marked and stock rotation systems are in place
- Maintain accurate records to satisfy food hygiene requirements such as fridge temperature checks
About You:
- Proven experience working in a similar catering role, ideally in a care or similar environment.
- Committed to customer care and first‑class service provision
- Knowledge of Health and Safety COSHH regulations
- Empathy and a desire to make a difference to the lives of our residents
- Ability to multi‑task, work under pressure and on own initiative in a fast‑paced environment
- To share our values and demonstrate them at all times: a “Can‑Do” flexible team worker, problem‑fixer, passionate about what they do, able to manage diverse and demanding workload, think out of the box, open to doing things differently.
