Our client are a leading builders merchant providing a mixture of building supplies to contractors, house builders, housing associations, and end users. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Internal Sales Executive to join their busy branch in the West London area.
Dealing with telephone sales and sales inquiries via email you will provide suitable quotations and end to end sales process management. Cross-basket selling, up-selling and margin management will all be expected from the on-boarding sales person. Due to the nature of the business a strong knowledge of building supplies and their pricing is essential to being successful in the role.
This role is a mixture of reactive incoming sales and proactive telephone sales in which you will be asked to speak to your customers regularly to build strong working relationships. Additionally you will be asked to call low spending accounts, lapsed accounts and target new business accounts to increase your sales ledger and generate more sales for the branch.
