A leading Tower Hamlets Prep school is seeking to appoint an Independent School Teacher to join their supportive and friendly small team from September 2026 on a full-time basis.

Position Details:

As an Independent School Teacher you will ensure that KS2 pupils receive high quality education designed to promote excitement, enjoyment and enthusiasm in learning, leading to the pursuit of excellence. You will be responsible for creating an atmosphere in which pupils feel valued and where personal endeavour and responsibility are fostered. It will be essential to have the experience and skills to prepare students for common entrance exams as many students move on to selective Independent Schools. The school ensures that class sizes are small, 15 pupils max. There is some planning involved but majority has been planned and will need updating to reflect the progress of the students.

Requirements for this Independent School Teacher Position:

  • To be considered for this position you must hold either a Bachelor of Education or a PGCE.
  • Relevant experience is essential, QTS and experience in a similar environment is desirable but not essential.
