This role is for a Group Intercompany Reporting Manager at a luxury wholesale business with a strong heritage and growing international footprint. The finance team supports strategic decision‑making and maintains robust financial control across the group.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end‑to‑end intercompany accounting cycle, including reconciliations, eliminations, and reporting.
- Drive improvements in intercompany processes, controls, and system efficiencies.
- Partner with finance teams across Europe, the US, and Asia to ensure consistency and best practice.
- Support month‑end and year‑end close processes, including group consolidation.
- Act as the key contact for auditors regarding intercompany balances and controls.
- Lead and develop a small team, fostering a high‑performance culture.
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Strong experience in group reporting and intercompany accounting within a multi‑entity, international business.
- Proven experience managing intercompany reconciliations in a complex group structure.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
- Experience working within the retail, wholesale, or consumer/luxury sectors is highly desirable.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with a cross‑functional and geographic reach.
- Proactive mindset with a track record of driving process improvements.
- Strong systems experience (ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Leadership experience or the ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
