Are you an experienced Geography Teacher or Geography ECT looking for a permanent teaching role in a high achieving secondary school? Do you set high expectations for your students, supporting them to meet their full potential, across the full Geography curriculum? Do you have confident classroom presence, consistently engaging students of all abilities in your lessons and with their assessments?
We are proud to be working with this high achieving 11-18 secondary school in East London; they are seeking a knowledgeable and confident Geography Teacher to join their well‑run Humanities Department from September 2026. In this role, you will teach across the full Geography curriculum at KS3 and KS4; the school is open to discussing KS5 teaching as well. The school uses the AQA exam board for both GCSE and A level, therefore curriculum knowledge in these areas would be beneficial.
Qualifications- Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and confident classroom presence
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Have a degree in Geography or a closely related subject
- Foster positive relationships with your students, setting and maintaining high expectations
- Demonstrate high standards of professionalism
- Communicate clearly and confidently, verbally and in writing
- Hold UK Right to Work
