An exciting opportunity has opened for a Junior Smart Building Consultant to join a growing consultancy delivering innovative smart building and digital infrastructure projects across commercial real estate, data centres, and high-performance buildings. You'll work alongside experienced consultants and engineers on projects that combine technology, energy efficiency, data analytics, and building automation to create smarter, more sustainable environments.

Location: London - Hybrid Working

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the delivery of smart building and digital transformation projects
  • Assisting with building technology strategies and smart building assessments
  • Working with systems such as BMS, IoT platforms, analytics tools, and integrated building technologies
  • Helping analyse building performance and operational data
  • Supporting client meetings, workshops, and technical documentation
  • Collaborating with project teams across engineering, sustainability, and technology disciplines
  • Learning how modern buildings integrate automation, connectivity, and user experience

Desired Experience:

  • Degree qualified in Engineering, Building Services, Smart Buildings, Sustainability, Technology, or a related field
  • Strong interest in smart buildings, digital engineering, IoT, or building technology
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Eagerness to learn and develop within a consultancy environment
