This is a bilingual nursery providing high-quality care and education for children aged 8 months to 4 years. The Nursery is seeking an experienced and motivated Nursery Manager to lead our team. This is a supernumerary leadership role, focused on managing the nursery, supporting staff, and ensuring outstanding standards of care and education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the nursery
  • Ensure compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements
  • Manage, support, and develop staff through supervision and appraisals
  • Build strong relationships with parents and handle queries professionally
  • Oversee curriculum delivery (EYFS & Montessori approach)
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and administrative systems
  • Ensure health & safety standards and risk assessments are followed
  • Support occupancy targets and general nursery operations

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum Level 3 Childcare qualification (required)
  • Level 5, Level 6, BA in Early Years, or EYTS/EYPS (preferred)
  • Experience as a Nursery Manager (1+ year) or Deputy Manager (3+ years)
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS framework
  • Experience in team leadership and staff management
  • Confident working in partnership with parents
