We are seeking a professional LGV Class 1 Bitumen Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of bitumen and related materials, ensuring timely deliveries across designated routes. This role requires a valid LGV Class 1 licence, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to safety and customer service.
Working Hours
Guaranteed 40 hours per week with potential for overtime. Various shift patterns available with potential nights out.
Pay
Hourly Rate £26.55 and weekend overtime available as required. Night supplement of £2.50 between hours of 9 and 4.
Essential Qualifications
- Hold a current LGV C+E licence. We are looking for actual driving experience, and not only how long you have held the licence.
- Hold an up to date and valid Driver Qualification Card.
- Have no more than 3 penalty points on your licence, none of which are related to drink/drug driving offences or dangerous driving.
Desirable Qualifications
- Previous tanker experience.
Responsibilities
- Be available for AM shifts.
- Have the flexibility to do nights out on a regular basis when required, at short notice.
- Live within a maximum of 45 mins commute from the location at which you are applying to work.
- Maintain high levels of customer focus with a keen eye for detail and process.
- Be able to follow instructions in line with comprehensive Company procedures and within strict industry guidelines.
