Role: Application Architect
Duration: 6 months with very likely extension
Location: Hybrid / Canary Wharf - 3 days per week in a Canary Wharf office
Rate: 750 per day (Inside IR35)
Experience:
- In depth understanding of Object Oriented programming concepts as well as of the full Software Development Life Cycle.
- Good understanding of MS .NET Framework environments.
- Knowledge and experience of Agile methodology.
- Knowledge of Cloud and AI technologies that can be adopted into the workplace.
- Extensive experience working as a software and solutions architect.
- Experience in designing high-level concepts for software solutions.
- Experience in development of Azure cloud-based as well as on-prem solutions.
- DevOps and SCRUM experience.
- Experience in Cloud migration planning and execution.
Tasks:
- Create and improve architectural standards for on-premise and Azure cloud software products, develop cloud migration procedures and guidelines.
- Assist in cloud migration projects, assess readiness and dependencies, optimize for the Cloud.
- Create and review blueprints for software products, provide guidance on improving architecture.
- Coding mission critical parts and performing code reviews.
- Assist on integrating AI technologies to improve existing systems.
- Ensure that applications are in line with compliance and regulatory standards and conduct regular security assessments of these applications.
- Technical writing (creating related documentation).
- Assist developers with any architecture related issues and queries.
