We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire & Security Service & Maintenance Engineer to join a well‑established fire and security specialist operating across London and the surrounding areas. The business provides high‑quality communal IRS, security, and fire protection solutions to a wide range of clients, including housing associations, local authorities, facilities management companies, and property managers.
This is a full‑time, field‑based role responsible for preventative, reactive, and remedial maintenance across domestic and commercial properties, delivering work to a consistently high professional standard.
Package & Benefits- Salary £40,000 - £44,000 per annum (depending on experience)

- Servicing, maintenance, and fault‑finding on fire and security systems
- Preventative, reactive, and remedial works across domestic and commercial properties
- Carrying out small works and system repairs
- Completing asset logs and system records on site
- Managing your own daily workload to ensure timely completion of jobs
- Communicating progress and updates with the office on a daily basis
- Dealing with clients face‑to‑face in a professional and customer‑focused manner
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with British Standards and industry regulations
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety at all times
- Proven experience as a Fire & Security Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer
- Strong knowledge of fire and security systems and relevant British Standards
- Experience carrying out preventative maintenance to current regulations
- Background working with CCTV and Access Control systems (Entrotec experience advantageous; fire alarm experience beneficial)
- Relevant qualifications such as NSI, LPCB, City & Guilds (desirable)
- Excellent customer‑facing and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
- Experience within the construction and fire & security industry
- Clean criminal record with the ability to pass DBS / security screening
