A global leader in manufacturing is seeking a Financial Analyst – Costing to join the Global Operations Finance team in South Wales. The role supports the Finance Director in ensuring accurate material and product costing, in line with established financial controls and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with operations teams to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the ERP material master data, including product costing configurations, bills of materials and routings.
- Coordinate the annual cost roll process, supporting expected outcomes while maintaining strong internal control compliance.
- Ensure accurate costing of new products and provide financial input into business cases, alongside responsibility for month‑end activities.
- Oversee production order and rework cost control, validate and track continuous improvement initiatives against plan.
- Play an active role in the implementation of ERP enhanced systems.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in product costing within a manufacturing environment.
- Exposure to ERP systems is advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling the delivery of clear, concise reporting and effective collaboration with stakeholders across the organisation.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities confidently, and communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the business.
