Key Responsibilities

  • You will lead the classroom experience, ensuring every child transitions successfully into Key Stage 1:
  • Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, with a strong focus on core subjects including Reading, Writing, and Maths.
  • Full Class Responsibility: Manage all aspects of teaching, from initial lesson planning and delivery to final assessment and reporting.
  • Inclusion & Differentiation: Implement creative and inclusive teaching strategies that meet the unique needs of every learner in the classroom.
  • Assessment & Strategy: Contribute to the school's assessment and implementation strategies, tracking pupil progress to ensure high standards of achievement.
  • Collaborative Working: Work within a well-supported and collaborative setting, contributing positively to the wider school life and community ethos.

  • Qualifications: Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). ECTs are welcome and encouraged to apply.
