A well-established construction and property services company based in Liverpool is seeking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects across the region. The business operates across commercial construction and property services related works, delivering high-quality solutions for a range of private and public sector clients.
The Role
- Full commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account
- Preparation of cost plans, budgets, forecasts and monthly reporting
- Procurement and commercial management of subcontractor packages
- Valuations, variations and change control
- Final account preparation and negotiation
- Working closely with project and site teams to drive commercial performance
- Ensuring compliance with contractual and commercial requirements
The Candidate
- Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within construction or property services
- Strong understanding of cost control, subcontractor management and reporting
- JCT and NEC experience (NEC experience advantageous)
- Commercially astute with a proactive approach
- Confident communicator able to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
- Degree-qualified or equivalent industry experience preferred
