QS required for Construction business based in Liverpool. A well-established construction and property services company based in Liverpool is seeking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects across the region. The business operates across commercial construction and property services related works, delivering high-quality solutions for a range of private and public sector clients.

The Role

  • Full commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account
  • Preparation of cost plans, budgets, forecasts and monthly reporting
  • Procurement and commercial management of subcontractor packages
  • Valuations, variations and change control
  • Final account preparation and negotiation
  • Working closely with project and site teams to drive commercial performance
  • Ensuring compliance with contractual and commercial requirements

The Candidate

  • Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within construction or property services
  • Strong understanding of cost control, subcontractor management and reporting
  • JCT and NEC experience (NEC experience advantageous)
  • Commercially astute with a proactive approach
  • Confident communicator able to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Degree-qualified or equivalent industry experience preferred
