A specialist fire consultancy based across the Midlands is seeking a Fire Risk Assessor to join their growing team. This role will support commercial, residential and public sector projects throughout Birmingham, Nottingham and Leicester. The successful Fire Risk Assessor will work alongside experienced consultants delivering Type 1 and Type 3 fire risk assessments. This position offers strong progression, varied projects and flexible working. The Fire Risk Assessor will benefit from a supportive team and a healthy pipeline of work.

The Fire Risk Assessor's Role

  • Carry out site inspections
  • Produce detailed reports
  • Provide fire safety advice to clients across healthcare, education and residential portfolios
  • Support compartmentation reviews
  • Liaise with duty holders regarding compliance improvements

Experience

  • Producing Fire Risk Assessments
  • Knowledge of current UK fire legislation
  • NEBOSH Fire or equivalent desirable
  • Full UK driving licence
