Company Overview

Our client is looking for a Fire Alarm Engineer to join their highly valued team on a full‑time, permanent basis. With many years of experience in the industry, they are entering another period of growth and are expanding their team to meet customer demand.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Installation, service, repair, fault‑finding and maintenance of fire alarms, emergency lighting and related systems
  • Field‑based role covering a number of sites
  • Working with a range of manufacturers
  • Taking responsibility for the overall quality of the work delivered
  • Effective communication with customers at all times
  • Ensuring tasks are completed efficiently
  • Providing support to team members where required

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Full UK driving licence or equivalent (essential)
  • Drive and enthusiasm to seize opportunities
  • Ideally at least 3 years of experience in the fire industry (not essential)
  • Open to applicants with all or single discipline backgrounds willing to be trained
  • Knowledge of a range of manufacturers
  • Desirable qualifications: IPAF, CSCS/ECS, FIA and/or City & Guilds
  • Positive attitude and self‑motivation
