Company Overview
Our client is looking for a Fire Alarm Engineer to join their highly valued team on a full‑time, permanent basis. With many years of experience in the industry, they are entering another period of growth and are expanding their team to meet customer demand.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Installation, service, repair, fault‑finding and maintenance of fire alarms, emergency lighting and related systems
- Field‑based role covering a number of sites
- Working with a range of manufacturers
- Taking responsibility for the overall quality of the work delivered
- Effective communication with customers at all times
- Ensuring tasks are completed efficiently
- Providing support to team members where required
Skills and Experience Required:
- Full UK driving licence or equivalent (essential)
- Drive and enthusiasm to seize opportunities
- Ideally at least 3 years of experience in the fire industry (not essential)
- Open to applicants with all or single discipline backgrounds willing to be trained
- Knowledge of a range of manufacturers
- Desirable qualifications: IPAF, CSCS/ECS, FIA and/or City & Guilds
- Positive attitude and self‑motivation
