Company Accountant Job, Construction and Property sector, Liverpool, £55000 to £60000. Our client is a privately owned business that manages an extensive property portfolio across the Liverpool area. The company is also involved in the construction of new properties for sale and rent. It is a pleasant company culture, with plenty of long-serving staff and a great environment to work in.
Role
As Company Accountant you will manage a small team and be responsible for overseeing a wide range of tasks including:
- Fixed Asset register and details of any sales/acquisitions in the year
- Reconciliations of bank accounts and loan statements for the year
- Summaries of intercompany loans in the year
- Debtors and creditors ledgers reconciliations
- Reconcile of other liabilities (PAYE/VAT/CT) where relevant
- Use of Sage line 50
- Year end close for company accounts and submission of files to the accountants
Qualifications
We are looking for an accountant with significant experience of working for property or construction businesses. You should have team leadership experience and ideally have worked for an owner-managed company. Consider applications from both Qualified by Experience and fully qualified accountants.
